The City of Hollywood, Office of the City Clerk/Records and Archives Division is hosting its triannual shredding day on Sunday, December 7, 2014 on the west side of City Hall Circle from 8 a.m. until the trucks have reached capacity.

 

Please note this shredding will be a drive-up event and entrance to City Hall Circle (2600 Hollywood Boulevard) will be strictly limited to South 26th Avenue with exiting traffic directed to North 26th Avenue only.

Employees will be available to assist with unloading your papers. Residents must provide proof of Hollywood residency (driver’s license, utility bill, tax bill, etc.) Non-resident City of Hollywood employees are welcome to participate upon presentation of their employee IDs.

There is a limit of 3 boxes of paper records per household. Only paper will be accepted—CDs, DVDs, heavy binder clips, plastic binders, X-rays and such are prohibited. As always, staples and paperclips can be shredded.

Please keep in mind that only personally identifiable records/papers will be accepted—routine household recycling (newspapers, magazines, etc.) cannot be accommodated.
